RETRO CONTRAST
This piece of work was designed using the rules of perspective. It skillfully juxtaposes vintage and modern autos in a mesmerising retrofuturistic style, expressing nostalgia and anticipation for the future. This composition's perfect blend of the new and old with a figure placed in the centre breaking apart the two creates a unique visual narrative that invites visitors to consider the progression of car design. IMAGE: PEARLY WHITE
This design was crafted during my magazine project “image” and features a compelling smile worn by what would be considered an old fashioned lady. The design masterfully contrasts a vibrant blue background accented with exclamation marks, producing a visually fascinating narrative that provokes interest and fascination. Click Image to Enlarge.
DREAMS START HERE
“Dreams Start Here” is a poster design which contrasts the concepts of being awake and dreaming. This is implemented through inverting the subject and positioning them at a 180degrees angle to show the process of sleep. As well as this, a green statue of a winged man is placed to suggest that this figure is not experiencing the real world. Click Image to Enlarge.
MAG BY IMAGE
With planning and clever positioning combined, this create a compelling scene on this magazine cover. I took front stage with a couple close pals, embodying the essence of a trending magazine targeted towards teenagers. The title design deviates from the traditional rectangular title placement at the top by integrating a circular logo that radiates through the immense expanse of the sky, setting a distinct and memorable tone for the entire composition.
